RULES ANDULGULATIONS. 1. No entry will be received except on the condition that all disputes, claims, and objections arising out- of tho racing shall be decided by the Stewards, or whom they m-vy appoint ; their decision on all points connected with carrying out this programme to be final. 2. A district horse 5h.,11 mean any horse that has been commonly resident in tho district lying between the rivers Selwyn and Waitaki from July Ist 1886, and up to the da'e cf the forthcoming meeting and owned by a person who has resided in the said district during the same period. 3. Five per cent will be deducted from the gross • f ail moneys payable in accordance with this programme for expenses of the course. 4. All nominations and acceptances go to tho fundi of the Club, NOMINATIONS. All nominations to be accompanied by fees, name, age and description of horse, and colors of rider, and in iho hands of the Secretary (address —Ashburton) not later than 9 p.m. on Monday November 1 1886 WEIGHTS. Weights for the first clay’s handicaps will be declared on Thursday December 2 1886. Weights for the second day’s handicaps will ho declared at 9 o’clock on the evening of the first day’s racing.
