FINANCES OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA. Adelaide, October 1
The South Australia revenue for the past quarter amounted to a decrease of ;£i 22,000 as compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. In the House of Assembly last night the proposals submitted by the Government to amend the Land Act in order to cover the deficiency in the revenue were rejected.
