He is a dark brown or black horse, stands 16 hands high, got by English Tim Whiffl r, out of Flying Scud. Tim Whiffler was hy Van Galen, out of Sybil, by Ugly Buck, out of Sylph, by Titlia da pnta, Van Galen being by Van Tromp, out of Littlo Casino, by Inheritor. Flying Scud was a dark bay' mare, bred in Victoria by Mr J. Harper in 1865, got by Fisherman, her dam being Jeanette by Little John, Whilhelmina by r Romeo, Moss Rose by Emigrant, the Tiber mare (For extended pedigree see English and Australian stud b oka ) Tim Whiffler was scarcely ever beaten in England.
