the north side of the Rangitikei river, that is, - opposite the Awahou Pa, in such places as may not be shortly settled upon by Europeans, are retainable as cultivations for the natives for three years; at the expiration of which time all these cultivations shall be abandoned by the natives, and given up to the Europeans. The day on which they are wholly to be given up is the tenth day of March One Thousand Eight Hundred and fifty two, 1852. 5th. The Fifth.
