On Friday last, botwoon 7 and 8 p.m., prisoner gavo him tho ohost. Ho (witnoss) stood on tho wharf, and prisonor handed it to him over tho rail, and ho took it aboard his ship. Witnoss valued tho ohost at 5s or Ga. It was quite empty whon he got it. Captain Williams, of tho Silas Fish, said tho ohest in question was tho proporty of a boy who had desorted, llt was worth about 6s. Ho had nover ! authorised aoousod to take the box.
