The decision of (ho French Govern- 1 ment to effect a general mobilisation of its torces has been communicated to the Consul for France in New Zealand, M. Rigofeuu, A summons will be issued to all French subjects, including reservists,' to report to the Consul or liis agents in Wellington, Christchurch. and Dunedin, and to be prepared to sail for France at the earliest opportunity. Arrangements have not yet been completed for the conveyance of returning soldiers.
