Foerster, 'it is reported, slapped Greiser's face during a beer-hall quarrel and a Nazi court of honour, in accordance with the Nazis' "codo of conduct and honour," decided that a duel must be fought. It was fought at dawn in a park behind a notorious gambling casino at Zoppot, seven mileS from Danzig. The affair has been -hushed up in Danzig, where Foerster is called "Little Hitler."
