MAHAKIPAWA.

(Our Own Correspondent.) Saturday. The Inspector, Mr Strachan, his annual examination of the Link- | water School last Wednesda-y. I Twenty-five pupils wore present, all passing. Such a highly satisfactory result is very gratifying, both to Miss Palmer, who still continued in charge when the Grove sehoolhouse was removed to its new site nearer Maliakipawa and re-christened "The Linkwater," and also to Miss Young, the teacher at the Cullensville School until it was closed two months ago, when the children were transferred to tho Grove-Link water school. It also speaks well for the industry of tho children. I understand that Mr Strachan expressed himself as highly satisfied in every respect.
