OKARAMIO TO HAVELOCK

HAVELOCK, Aug. 3. The Pelorus Road Board are advised that the Minister for Telegraphs has now replied to the Hon. C. H. Mills in reference to his letter recommending the application made for telephonic communication between Okaramio and Havelock, with an intermediate office at Havelock Suburban, informing him that it has been decided to erect the desired line, and the necessary action is now being taken.
