LICENSING COURT, HAVELOCK.
June 23, 1881. [Before J. Allen, W. E. Dive, A. Hyde, and John Smith, Esquires, Commissioners.] Licenses were granted to the following : — John Wilson, Pelorus Hotel, Canvas Town, license fee to be £20 instead of £15 as before ; Moses Fear, Commercial Hotel, Havelock; Daniel Couper, Pelorus Valley ; John Moir Dickson, Half-way House, Kaituna Valley ; Thomas Maxted, Gibson's Accommodation House, North Bank of Wairau (with charge of ford in river) ; Mary Hutchinson, Masonic Hotei, Havelock; William Dorreen, Post Office Hotel, Havelock.
