Evidence that Germany will shortly call up further reservists coincides with increased pressure on the Danzig-German frontier, where the control has already been tripled, states the Paris correspondent of the British United Press. It is stated that six regiments of infantry arrived, in Carlsruhe last night. Thirty thousand troops from Essen have been installed "at the 3aar Frontier /poslb, and 32,000 motorised troops have reached the Rhineland in the past iwo days. Observers report considerable troop movements in Kehl, Lastatt, Salzbach, Trier, and Eifel. The authoritative Danzig journal "Vorposten" states: "We are convinced that there will soon be a demonstration showing how little Britain and France are willing to support .Polish arrogance." It urges the population to strengthen themselves in anticipation of the hour of decision, stating: "It is absolutely certain that this decision^, will be taken. The Fuhrer will set the date." It adds: "Calm and strength will be particularly necessary in the next few weeks." NAZI INFILTRATION. ' An official communique issued in Warsaw states: "It can no longer, be doubted that, despite denials in Danzig, a free corps is being organised in Danzig for which barracks have been requisitioned, quantities of frozen meat stored, and tailors regimented for the making pi uniforms." ■ The outspokenness 'of the communique surprised Polish' political quarters, which interpreted it as mean T ing that Poland will not passively watch the infiltration of East^Prussiari Nazis into Danzig. France is looking to her defences as a result of reports that German reservists are being called, up and also that 'Italian troop trains are moving through the Brenner Pass, says the Paris representative of the Associated Press of Great Britain. ;' Marshal Gamelin is inspecting the fortifications on the Italian frontier and Air-Marshal Vuillemin is inspecting* the Corsican air bases. "Le Journal" declares: "Our predicament is enough to make the one and a half million French war-dead rise from their graves."' '
