BERLIN, June 21

The Polish Customs inspector^ Jan Lipinski has been committed for trial on charges of kidnapping and a breach of the peace.

A Warshaw cablegram published on June 13 stated that the Danzig secret police' had .arrested Lipinski, who left his post on June 9 and did not return. M. Chodacki, the • Polish Commissioner in Danzig, lodged a protest concerning the kidnapping and beating by Nazis of Lipinski. The Danzig Government announced that it was charging Lipinski with attempted kidnapping and espionage. A public trial was promised.
