FINDING OF MARINE COURT (P.A.) DUNEDIN,’ February 4. A Marine Court of Inquiry held into the stranding of the National Mortgage and Agency Company's steam trawler Hananui 11, which went ashore on the east side of the Otago Peninsula on the morning of December 2. was concluded to-day. - ‘ : The finding of the Court was that the accident was caused in the first place by the master’s ignorance of his exact starting point and his failure to take adequate precautions in the existing weather conditions. Captain John Black, master of the trawler, was ordered to pay £25 towards the cost of the inquiry and was handed back his certificate.
