NAZI LEADER'S REPORT. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received l.:io p.m.) LONDON. .July 17. The Nazi leader, Herr Poerstor, has returned to Danzig. It is underst Ihe indicated that he found Herr Hitler optimistic that the Danzig problem can be settled by negotiation between Germany and Poland, provided there is. no outside interference. "The Times" Warsaw correspondent says that the visit of Sir Kdmund Ironside, British Inspector-General of Overseas Forces, is described as continuation of the contact of the British and Polish Staffs.
In addition to military talks with the Polish High Command. Sir Edmund Ironside will inspect centres of military activity and attend military exercises at Renibertow and Modlin.
Newspapers welcome the visit as tangible evidence of the identity of the British and Polish purpose.
VISIT TO ICELAND.
TWO GERMAN SUBMARINES. BERLIN, July 17. Two ficrman submarines are going to Iceland on July 21 for a three days' visit.
