(Received 10.30 a.m.) I LONDON, June 28. The British United Press Paris correspondent states that M. Daladier conferred with Parliamentary leaders and expressed his fear that an internal coup in Danzig was imminent, after which the city would declare itself part of the Reich. A Warsaw message states that it is now estimated that 4000 Germans have entered Danzig in the last 24 hours. One thousand horses have been requisitioned, and drills are being carried out.

After firing a warning shot, Polish coastal artillery shot down & German military aeroplane which was alleged to have been flying over the fortifications opposite Gydnia. The aeroplane fejl into the sea. It had sent out an 5.0.5., and a passing German merchantman picked up the occupants. The Air Ministry at Berlin refused to give details of the incident. A message from Berlin later denied that the German military 'plane was shot down. It stated that the pilot heard firing, but did not know whether it was a warning or practice shooting. He landed safely.

Molotoff, Soviet Foreign Commissar, as soon as instructions for the French Ambassador arrive. A Moscow message says that Sir William Seeds consulted with M. Xaggiar, French representative, on the next steps in the negotiations with Russia, after which he saw the Ambassadors of Turkey and Afghanistan, which are closely interested in a triple alliance.
