ASHBURTON.
RUGBY UNION. From Our Own Correspondent. The weekly meeting of the Ashburton Rugby Union was attended by Messrs F, Robiiliard (in the chair), D. Friedlandcr, A. Thompson, A. Robertson, W. Page, J. Barter, J. Henderson, F. W. Seldon, and the secretary. The question of establishing an accident fund was again discussed, and it was finally decided that the fund' should be formed and administered by Messrs Seldon, Robiiliard, and Robertson. Each club will be asked to subscribe £2 2/- toward the funds. It was agreed to prepare a roll of honour, and the secretary was instructed to secure a list of the names of players who had taken part In the war. Mr J. Morc's offer of a trophy for the best' player during the season was accepted with thanks.
