WANGANUI GALLOPS. Press Issnaiation. WANGANUI, May 21. The weather was perfect for the final gallops. Rewi Poto beat Henry Clay over a mile. Coalition and Sendown went a mile and auaif together, the last seven furlongs being covered in liuin 36scc. • Marshal Nell headed Gunwale and Trombone at the end of six furlongs in -lmin 21sec. Rislngham beat Astinome over six furlongs. Euripos was in front of Arlington at the end of a mile gallop. Rlrkenvalc beat Post Haste over five furlongs. Paraoa, by himself, stopped dead at the second hurdle, but later on" went over two nicely. Munster jumped a couple of hurdles, and then ran half a mile in 52sec.
