A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE^ Ail interim sheep return issued by •the Department, of Agriculture givesthe net increase of sheep for the : past year as 403,595. The flocks of the South Island increased by 578,908, but there was a decrease in. the North Island of 175,314.
