JERSEY BREEDERS.
ANNUAL MEETING. I - Free* Association. WANGANUI, July 15. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Jersey Breeders' Association was held at Wanganui. The annual report showed a very satisfactory state of affairs, the Society having funds totalling £B7O, an increase of 100 per cent, during the year. Messrs R. J. Linn (Normanby), H.'B. Lepper (Leppertoii),' and C. J. C. Dermer (Cheltenham) were elected to fill the three new positions on the Council. It was resolved to increase the authorised judges list by at least twenty names. It was decided that the Government should be asked to take steps to improve the breed of Jersey cattle. It was also resolved that the present system of marking cattle should be continued. Mr J. A. McCrea was elected a life member. It was decided to hold the next meeting at Hamilton.
