DEFENCE OF REALM ACT PASSED
OUTPUT OF WAR MATERIALS
(Received March 17, 2.25 p.m.) LONDON, March 16. Lord Kitchener states that since the Avar the output of war materials has increased three hundredfold.
The Defence of the Realm Amendment Bill has received the Royal assent. The Marquis of Crewe, m reply to Lord Curzon, said considerable reinforcements had been sent to Ahwaz to make the position perfectly stflong. Parliament adjourned till April 14th.
