BRITISH TRAWLER BLOWN UP
H.M.S. AMETHYST ADVANCES TO NAGARA AND SUFFERS DAMAGE.

(Received March 17, 2.25 p.m.) ATHENS, March 16. A British trawler, mine-sweeping m the Dardanelles, was blown up. The British vessels silenced several mobile Turkish batteries above Koum Kale.
H.M.S. Amethyst braved the mine area, and advanced to Nagara. Three shells struck her, inflicting some damage.
