Fruit.— Good demand for choice locally-grown fruits and short supply. We quote :— Oranges : Tahiti, 7s. Lemons: Italian, 255. Bananas: Green, 2d ; ripe, 2Jd. Pears (good demand), 2Jd to 3Jd ; choice, up to 4Jd. Apples : Ooakers, lid to 2id (choice wanted) ; dessert, 2}d to 3d. Tomatoes : Hothouse, 6d, Grapes, Bd, to Is. Pineapples, 3s. to 4s toev dozen.
