OPPOSITION IN RUAWAI [by telegraph—own cohrespondknt] DARGAVILLE, Friday Opposition to the Public Works Department's proposed £247,000 scheme for the supply of water over an estimated area of 53,000 acres in Ruawai, portions of the Hobson and Otamatea counties and Dargaville borough, was voiced at a meeting of the Ruawai branch of the Farmers' Union, which decided to have nothing to do with the scheme in its present form.
