OTAGO BOAT'S PARTICIPATION
" DEFYING THE ASSOCIATION."
DECISION TO EXPEL CLUB.

At a meeting of the Otago Yacht, and Motor-Boat Association to-night the president, Mr. J. T. Paul, made a statement in connection with the North East H, rbour Boating Club's action in defying tho association's decision by sending a crew to competo in the Cornwall Cup contest at Lyttelton. Most of the delegates also strongly condemned the club's action, and after a lengthy discussion a resolution was carried that the club should be expelled from the association.
Mr. Paul said ho felt suro tho association's decision would meet with tho approval of tho other affiliated clubs and the majority of boating men in Otago.
