AIRMAN KILLED.
NORTHAMPTONSHIRE CRASH. SALUTE IN SEAT OF DEATH. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Becd.-5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Nor. 13. An unidentified airman crashed in a military single-seater aeroplane at Caster, Northamptonshire, and was burnt to death. Through the flames a woman saw the pilot in his seat with his right hand to his forehead as though he were saluting.
