BODY RECOVERED

DABGAVILLE, 12th April The body of a man believed to be Eodney Bernard Shannon, aged 55, a' married man with three children, who has been missing for a fortnight, was found in the river last night. Shannon, ;.who was a storekeeper at 'To Kopuru, went to Auckland on business.- Ho telegraphed his wife that he was re-' turning, but failed to do so. It is learned that he was seen to join a boat at Helensville on the return journey, but, being practically a stranger in. the .district, was not known very well. Shannon came to Te Kopuru from Whakatane. An inquest, will be held.
