Tho Marlborough Trotting Club's one-day meeting is being held in fine weather. The track is hard and fa^t. Results:—
Trial Handicap, of SO soys; 3|45 class; one 'and, a half miles.—l Dan Roco, 24yds bhd, 1; 3 Belle o' Mine, scr, 2; 2 Nelson Gara, scr, 3*. Also started: 4 Ailsa Bingcn. Won by two lengths. Time, 3niin 29 4-ssoc. Stewards' Handicap, of 85 soys; one mile and a half.—l Ocklcy Wood, GOyds bchindj 1; 4 Ballayah, 24yds behind, 2; 3 Bill Bingcn, 24yds behind, 3. Also started: 6 Westward, 2 Arthur Thorpe, 5 Peter M-'Millan. Won by a length. Time, 3min 10 3-ssec.
