WHANGAREI, This Day. Excellent weather prevails for the second day of the Whangarci Racing Club's fixture. The track is in beautiful order and there is a large attendance. Results: —
Junior Stakes, of 100 soys; six furlongs.—l Principal, S.O, 1; 2 Biddy Comet, 7.12, 2; 5 Valorient, 8.10, 3. All started. Won by a length. Time, lmin 17sec.
Onerahi Hack Handicap, of 125 soys; six furlongs.—2 Treasury, 8.9, 1; 1 Mauriaena, 9.1, 2; 3 Tambourine, 8.10, 3. Scratched Valstreet, Frothblower, Furore, Orchus. Won by two lengths and a half. Time, lmin 16 3-ssec.
