Lambs.—Canterbury, light, lOd; medium, 9 3-8 d; seconds, 9%d; other selected*, medium, U'/id; North Island, firsts, light, 0 5-Sd; medium, 9 l-8d; Australian, firsts, other States, 8 5-8 d; seconds, Victorian, S 5-Sd; others, BVid; thirds, 8 l-8d; Argentine, firsts, medium, 7%d. Frozen Beef. —New Zealand, hinds, SVid; Australian, hinds, sd; Argentine, hinds, lid. Chilled Beef. —Argentine, fores, 4 1/4 d; hinds, 7*/4 d; other meats are unchanged. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London office as at close of, business last week:— "Frozen Meat: The market for wethers-is quiet, but firm. There is a good demand for ewes. It is thought prices for lamb will remain steady at last quotations. The market for beef is firm. Wethers, light, OVid to 7Vzd per lb; wethers, heavy, Gd to 5%d per lb; ewes, 4 J/id to 5%d per lb; lambs, 2's, 9%d to lOd per lb; lambs, B's, 9d to 9ttd per lb; lambs, 4's, B%d to S.%d per lb; lambs, seconds, 9d to 9%d per lb; ox hinds, 4%d to 5Ud per lb; ox fores, SVtd to 3%d per lb; cow hinds, 4%d to 4%d per lb; cow fores, 3'Ad to 3%d per lb."
