SPEECH BY MR. LLOYD GEORGE | SUFFRAGETTES EJECTED FROM MEETING PERPETUAL MENACE. By Telegraph.— Fmm Association.— Copyright. (Received May 20, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 19th May. Mr. Lloyd George, Chancellor of the Exchequer, addressed a meeting of ten thousand persons at Carnarvon, Wales, on tho subject of Church Disestablishment. Eight suffragists were ejected during the meeting. Mr. Lloyd George said that Nonconformists felt the existence of the Establishment to be a perpetual menace to half the Welsh nation.
