The Defence authorities have asked for the use of Forbury Park on let June in connection with General Sir Robert Baden-Powell'e visit. A meeting of representatives of the various Hockey Clubs on Saturday night decided to instruct the executive of the Otago Hockey Association not to accede to the request, as it- would mean that twenty-six teams would be prevented from playing on that day,- as well as cause injury to the ground.
