BIRTHDAY GREETINGS.
TO MR. WINSTON CHURCHILL
The Right Honourable the Prime Minister of Britain, Mr. Winston Churchill. P.C., will celebrate his 6ttth birthday next Saturday, and the Mayor of Auckland, Sir Krnest Davis, Kt., has convened a public meeting of citizens in the Town Hall at 8 p.m. of that day for the purpose of passing a congratulatorv resolution.
It is the intention of his Worship to arrange with tibe authorities for the overseas ea'ble to be kept open at that time, so that the message can be inline diatelv transmitted to London. Mr. L. K. Munro will give an address on thlife of Mr. Churchill, and the Aueklan " Chora] Society will render suitable iter of a patriotic nature.
