TO BENEFIT THE MUSEUM
Provision is made in the will of the late Mt. Charles James Shaw, of Auckland, who died on November 3, that when a life interest in the use of property in Fairview Road by testator's wife and daughter has expired, the sum of £1000 shall -be paid out of the residue of the estate to the trustee* of the Auckland Institute awl Museum. The stated purpose of the legacy is the establishment of a fund, from'the income of which purchaser may be made from time to time of natural historv and ethnographical specimens for exhibition in the luu-eiini. The testator's estate is vaued at under £51,000.
