SCHOOL CONCERT.
A concert arranged by the pupils of Takanini School met with great in tte MB. H.U evenin". Their objective was to raise funds to provide a tennis court and the iniative of the children resulted m a. considerable sum being raised towards the cost. A large audience was treated to some splendid items, which were received enthusiastically. A Dutch danae hy the Standard IV. pupilswas warmly received, as were the nigger minstrels by the higher classes .Among the soloists to earn applause for them work were Master Bob Grubner and Misses Jean Richardson, ,Joyce Jones, Bernjce Perkins and Daphne Wallen.
