BRIDGE AFTERNOONS.
PAPATOETOE CROQUET. The Papatoetoe Croquet ladies held an enjoyable and successful card afternoon in 'the -Bowling Clubs pavilion, Papatoetoe,' on Saturday. Mrs. -K. Parker-Hill, president of the club, welcomed a large number of members and friends,' and during the afternoon thanked the Misses F. and M. Hamrlton for their help during the year, and on behalf of those present presented them with beautiful flora tributes. The prize-winners for the bridge competition were Mrs. Ward and Miss Wily, and the 500 Mrs. Lusby and Mr. W. Brown. The ladies present included: Mesdame.. Runciman. J. Kendall. W. J. Nicholson, A G.
