Usually it is considered a right and proper thing to pay for one suit of clothes before another is purchased. To-day the action of the Government is rather like the purchasing of a new suit before the old ragged one has really been paid for, when it ie proposed to pay a large sum of money for various military training, while amongst the ranks of that huge army of unemployed, there are- many ex-servicemen who Hnd it almost impossible to exist on the sustenance or relief pay to-day deemed sufficient payment for the .remnants of what once was a glorious lighting force. A CAST OFF.
