DIXIELAND.
Several birthday parties were celebrated at Dixieland on Saturday night in time-honoured custom. Birthday cakes were conspicuous in the lounges, and the "cutting of the cake" and carnival spirit usually associated with such occasions made the evening a very happy one. The cabaret wa& decorated throughout with Iceland poppies, and further additions to the decorative scheme made the cabaret a veritable fairyland. . •
