Sale of Thoroughbred Stock.
CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Yesterday 11. Goodkin purchased Le Loup from G. E. Stead for £1,000. Mason sold Lady Ellen to George North. At an auction sale of thoroughbred stock yesterday, sales were effected on account of the late J. W. Mallock :—Ties Deuce, with foal by Albany, to G. Stead, far 250 guineas; Fancy, with colt foal, by Leolinus, to G. G. Stead, 150 guineas. On account of H. Redwood, Miss Bonnett, to Mr McSolvent, 210 guineas ; x>'lap Jack, G. Stead, 50 guineas; Talent, Sir Williams, 100 guineas; Filly Aurora Manroa Awaea, 150 guineas, W. S. Moorhouse ; Sludge Filly, Mr Brown, Wellington, 32 guineas. Several others were offered and passed in. Gossip has been purchased by Fraser, of Wanganui.
