THE WESTIAND WAR MEMORIAL.

Bokitika, February 14. The foundation stone of the Westlano War Memorial was laid in a pelting rain. There was a large concourse of people f iom all pirts, including numerous excursionists from as far north as Reef ton, there being fully 2000 present, and the number would certainly have been doubled under more favorable weather conditions.
