"Within the Veil"
Mrs. E. A. Mushet, Onehunga Union In November of 1954, the Onehunga Union lost one of its most staunch temperance advocates in the home-call of Mrs. E. A. Mushet, in her 88th year. Her mother had been a member of the W.C.T.U. before her. Over the years, Mrs. Mushet had served at \arious times as President, Treasurer, Press reporter, Devotional Superintendent and Registrar. When she could no longer attend meetings, she used her pen. She will be remembered long by the Union, which she had served so faithfull and well. Her last written message to us was this: ‘‘Remember, we are a Temperance MOVEMENT, not a Temperance STANDSTILL.”
