Women’s Vote in Bolivia and Mexico
The President of the Bolivian Republic has issued a decree, granting women the right to vote on an absolute equality with men The operative part of the decree reads: “Article 1. All Bolivians both men arid women, who have attained the age of 21 years, if unmarried, or 18 years if married, shall have the right to vote in the elections of public officials.” In Mexico, the law granting the vote to Mexican women came into force in March, 1953.
