Auckland District Executive, sth October. Mrs. B. Christopher conducted devotions. Mrs. Mount joy reported on the work of the Maori Girls’ fjostel. To mark the tenth year of its opening, a social afternoon was to be held at the Hostel in November. The monthly report of the N.C.W. was given by Mrs. Kelsey. The Annual Christmas Party to be held in December. Kohi-St. Heliers, September, at the home of Mrs. Phillips. Opening devotions led by Mrs. Pearson. Mrs. Kasper presided and welcomed members. Letter from Dominion President read. District Convention delegates appointed. Extracts from “Alcohol Talks to Youth” were read by the President. Prayer for Franchise Dsy. Cambridge, September 24th. Mrs. Hall presided over a good attendance. Mrs. Easter led the devotions. Arrangements made for a Social and Film Evening and for celebrating our Golden Jubilee on Oct. 22nd. Mrs. Burt gave a brief report on the Dist Convention held at Te Kuiti and paid tribute to the tine hospitality of the Maori Union. Donations sent to the N.Z. Fund for Franchise Day.
