To mark the tenth year of its opening, a social afternoon was to be held at the Hostel in November. The monthly report of the N.C.W. was given by Mrs. Kelsey. Mrs. Hall presided over a good attendance. Mrs. Easter led the devotions. Arrangements made for a Social and Film Evening and for celebrating our Golden Jubilee on Oct. 22nd. Mrs. Burt gave a brief report on the Dist Convention held at Te Kuiti and paid tribute to the tine hospitality of the Maori Union. Donations sent to the N.Z. Fund for Franchise Day.
