AUCKLAND DISTRICT Onehunga. November 9th. Annual Meeting. Devotions followed by much correspondence and necessary business—vita! matters affecting welfare of women and young j>eople considered. Year’s rejiorts by Sujienntendents of all departments showed faithful, consistent work. Election of officers and superintendents resulted in most cases in the return to office of those who had given faithful service. Titirangi. November 21st. Mrs. Holt presided and led devotions. The Annual Meeting held. Reports given on Cradle Roll and Seamen's Work by Mrs. Hieatt and Mrs. Parrish. Sympathy expressed in the passing of a beioved member, Miss Yorke. Treasurer’s report by Mrs. Nicholls showed good balance. Remuera. November. ?7th. Annual Meeting was presided over by Mrs. Laird. Devotions were taken by Mrs. Ibbetson. Miss Kirk gave a very hue talk on the N.C.VV. and its Jubilee Conference. Miss Kirk chaired the meeting for the election of olficers, who were all reelected. Held m Nelson with delegates from Richmond, Motucka and Nelson. Mrs. Tootner welcomed

delegates and gave an inspiring talk on the joy of Christian living. Dominion Corresponding Secretary’s letter discussed. Remits for Convention prepared. Noontide hymn and prayer. Convention delegates appointed. A garden party to be held at Mrs. Toomer’s home to raise funds for delegates’ expenses. Mrs. McMillan reported that literature was being sent to Ca|* Parewell lighthouse, For the Sailors’ Rests, Mrs. Gardiner ref*orted a parcel of ditty bags, stationery and a donation of 30/- had been sent to each Sailors’ Rest. Discussion on use of C.R. cards. Afternoon tea served.
