A GREETING TO THE CONVENTION FROM MRS. LEE-COWIE
HONOLULU, March 9th, 1950
To the President, Officers and Delegates, Beloved Fellow-workers, I would love to be with you personally at this time, hut shall be there in Convention spiritually, to give as my message of cheer, Isaiah ch. 35. Only ten verses, but there are 23 “ shalls ” —the written promise of our Omnipotent God. Will you each get your special Bthle and mark the “ shalls,'” and realise you are 44 workers together with God." There are "Wilderness’ lives around you, hearing nothing but thorns and briars. There are "Desert” souls, parched and dry. It is for you to turn the Wilderness into a fruitful garden, and the "Desert" into blossoming roses. Your helper and strength-giver is God, Himself. I had hoped my new booklet would have been ready to send a copy for each Delegate, hut the printer has not yet managed to deliver them The title is 44 Myself from 9 to 90," and when you get your copy, may you resolve to trust more, to love more, work more, and be ready when the King of Glory says: "It is enough, come up Higher." Your loving comrade, BESSIE LEE COWIE.
