President’s Message
Dear Friends,— Congratulations to those who have gained new member* and new “White Riblion’ subscribers. Congratulations, too, to those who have honestly tried to gain new members and subscribers but who lia\e not yet achieved their aim. Just keep on trying; you are doing good educational work even if it takes folk some time to go all the way with you. Once long ago 1 heard the head of n Mission School asked what qualifications were needed bv a teacher i* l •«-!* a school, ttml the reply w«*> “Know your A B (' and have eternal patience.” That is just what we need in our work —to know our A B C —that is, know the facts about the liquor traffic, and then have eternal patience; just the patience God has with us. Have you studied the Findings of the Royal Commission on Licensing ? We should he well prepared with our reasons for objecting to Trust Control, to the extension of hours, to the extension of time between Polls. May I urge you to give good heed to information contained in the "White Ribbon" and also in the "Vanguard” You will find just aliout all you need in those two papers. May we seek, and willingly accept, God’s help and guidance in the difficult times ahead of us. Remember “He only wins who sides with God.” Your sincere friend. C.* E. KIRK, Dominion President.
