AUCKLAND DISTRICT MAORI GIRLS' HOSTEL
It is now a fact that a Home is in existence at 9 Cleveland Road, Parnell, and it would rejoice your heart to a number of Maori girls round a large table in a large room, with large appetites, and at the finish of a meal, th? keen interest shown by the girls in a Bible reading, or perhaps a “Promise,” from the “Promise Box.” But these girls love harmony and music, and so tar we have 110 musical instrument. Perhaps there is an organ stowed away, badly needing the touch of the fingers to bring out the music. It would be much appreciated in a home like this. Many gifts have come in for which we are grateful, but— Lord, send a musical instrument!
