SUGGESTIONS.

Unions, in response to an appeal for suggestions to make our paper more helpful to our members and more educative to our readers, many have suggested less space given to reports, and used lor Temperance facts and educative matter. The reports have to lie \erv abbreviated, and are not very interesting. We would not wish to make such an alteration unless Convention considers it wise to do so. We, therefore, offer this suggestion—that while space is so urgently required for educative matter, the reports he only of work actually done. Omit all routine procedure. Minutes and Devotions need not he reported, but if you omit Devotions or minutes, report it promptly. We give the report of our own last meeting as a sample, and a*k reporters to take it as a guide. Johnsonville. —June 1?. Arrangements made for Birthday Party. Report of union’s help in providing Sundav Tea at Seamen’s Rest. Literature distributed and work for Poll discussed.
