Dear Sisters,—
I have been asked to write a greeting to members. First of all 1 wish to thank all those who have extended to me congratulations and good wishes on my being elected Dominion VicePresident. 1 feel it is a great honour, and my one desire is to work for the extension of our organisation. I send to you all my warmest greetings. I feel that this text from God’s Word is a very suitable message to pass on to you, especially as this is Poll year: “Now’ faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews xi-i). Faith is the driving force behind all great achievements, it is the power and glory of religion. If we set out, as we have, to combat great evils, we meet with suspicion, ridicule, opposition and antagonism, and we shall be tested according to the measure of our faith. The Bible tells us that faith removes mountains, and this is the kind of faith we must have if we are going to sue-' ceed in overthrowing the liquor traffic. Then, Sisters, we should work and pray unceasingly. “To know' what to do is wisdom, To know how to do it is skill. But knowing the tw’o Will not get you through, Unless it is breked by a will.” —“Union Signal.'* With Christian love. Yours in White Ribbon bonds, AMY KASPER
