WORLD’S WOMAN'S CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE UNION.

February 12, 1943 EDITORS OF OFFICIAL W.C.T.U. PAPERS.

Dear Friends, — Thank you so much for sending me your pai>er each month. I read it with interest and note the progress of temperance work in your countrv. The war has disrupted many things, but the papers come through with greater regularity even than sonic of the letters.

I notice that some of you have published my leaflet, “The W hite Ribbon in War Time.” 1 hope others may do so. This saves you jiostage, and i>erhaps reaches more people than could be reached in any other way. Will you kindiy call attention in your paper to the fact that Mother’s Day is one of the Red Letter Davs in the World’s Woman’s Christian Temperance Union? 1 am enclosing a copv of the Call. Will you please print it and emphasise the fact that this is a project in which we are all interested? Each country is to arrange the details. The National pai>ers and the W r hite Ribbon Bulletin keep White Ribboners around the world in touch with one another. We long for the time when we can freely correspond with all our Federated Societies.

Faithfully yours, ELLA A. BOOLE,

President, World’s Woman’s Christian Tempei \nce Union.
