MRS. NUTTALL. Linwood mourns the loss of Mrs. L. Nuttal!, their Peace Supt. Her home call came at the age of 86. The branch attended the funeral and members each placed a white flower on the casket ere it was lowered into the grave. MRS. CARTER. Wanganui East pays tribute to its late treasurer, Mrs. Carter. She was a very faithful worker and will be much missed. Members attended the funeral and the Union’s burial sendee was read. MRS. HOPKIRK. Another helper has gone from Wanganui Union. She died away from home. Will be missed by fellowworkers. MR. F. W. O. SMITH. A very prominent worker in church and temperance and educational activities, he was a member of Nelson Education Board for 26 years, and for 13 vears its chairman. He was a member of both Nelson College and Victoria University College Councils and for <ome time chairman of Nelson Hospital Board. To his widow, a member of our Nelson Union, we tender our sincerest sympathy. The Master has sent; and garnered in, Ripe and ready his cherished grain, Golden indeed his life’s setting sun. Blessed art thou, thy work well done. MRS. DONAGHUE. There lately passed to rest a very old member of the Petone W.C.T.tV For many years Mrs. Donaghue was its treasurer and after her removal from that town, she used to carry on the work and was a constant attendant at their meetings until the failure of health.
